The Truth About Love Bindings

What are Love Bindings?

Love Bindings are what the name implies: the fusing of two souls. Both counterparts will only be able to think about one another and neither party will ever want to separate. On the surface, it sounds like a good thing. But there is a dark side. If your partner has a tendency towards anger and hostility, you will have some regrets. You are essentially placing yourself inside the depths of another person’s soul. Depending on what sort of person he/she is, the whole situation can turn sour. Prepare yourself for obsession, stalking, harassment, abusive behavior, jealousy, and manipulation. It is the spiritual equivalent of handcuffing two people together and then sending them on their way.

When Should a Love Binding Be Done?

The only time that a love binding would be appropriate is if the person of interest has already been in your life for years and you are in a committed relationship or married. Remember, bindings are permanent until you unbind yourself from them. It would be a good idea if you are both in a loving relationship, but there are family members or acquaintances trying to get in between you and your loved one. There are many different scenarios for needing or wanting a love binding, which is why it is best to get a reading on the situation. Spirits are able to see what we cannot. They can see the paths in front of us and guide us towards the best solution for our overall well being.

The Pitfalls of Love Binding

One of the things that happens with a love binding is that the binding not only affects your target, but it affects you too. You can become anxious, jealous and obsessive too. You may constantly dream of the other person to the extent that you can’t really sleep anymore. And even if you’re no longer happy in the relationship, you can’t leave. There will always be a reason to come back, even if the other person physically abuses you.

Bindings are a very serious thing. They are not taught to the general public for a reason. A lot of times these types of workings can backfire. If you are just looking for love and romance, you are better off with a sweetening work. You won’t find love in a binding. If a spiritual worker advertises a binding as love, its a gimmick. A binding is more about domination and control. Spirit knows the difference, even if we don’t see it.

Love Bindings on Social Media

I am starting to see an ongoing trend of Love Binding How-to videos and photographs circulating the web and social media. There are people that are advertising themselves as “spiritual workers” that are offering such works to the general public. Don’t get me wrong, as a consumer you can purchase whatever the hell you want. However, its a problem when the worker doesn’t have the proper knowledge of Bindings and they are trying to make a profit. Overall, there is an ongoing trend of reading a book on Rootwork and then setting up an business account on various social networking sites. That’s not how this works.

Please be cautious of anybody that offers Love Bindings. The following are a list of red flags to watch out for:

  1. Credentials. Read the “About” page of your worker. If they are part of an ATR (African Traditional Religion), they should mention which tradition and the name of their Lineage or Spiritual Family. As a rule of thumb, it can be seen as a sign of disrespect by NOT being forward about your spiritual lineage. If they are not involved with an ATR, they will normally mention what sort of magic they practice and how many decades of experience they have. If their background or their skills and education in their craft is vague, you’re probably wasting your money.
  2. Photographs. If you’re seeing pictures of red or pink figural candles, it’s not a real love binding. It’s just a love spell. You could have done a honey jar and receive the same effect.
  3. Description. If the worker is explaining that a love binding will bring your lover closer to you, he/she will be more affectionate, sweet, generous towards you, then it’s not a love binding.
  4. Price. This is a dead giveaway. Either it will be too low or way too high. $50.00 is way too low for a Binding and $3000.00 is way too much. The price should include the supplies, the time and energy of the worker and offerings to the Spirits. In some ATRs the Spirit sets the price for the individual. This is usually based off your unique situation. A spirit may request a sacrifice if the situation calls for it.
  5. Get a Reading. If a Spiritual worker is doing the Binding without any sort of reading, run away fast. Like I mentioned above, a Spirit most commonly will tell the worker what needs to be done. A Binding won’t work unless a Spirit is fully on board. A Reading will also determine whether or not a binding is actually needed. You may just have a few blockages that need to be cleared up.
  6. Please use Common Sense. If anybody offers you something that is too good to be true, it’s a scam. This may include a short time frame. No magic manifests in a day and in only rare circumstances can you receive what you asked for within a week. The timing has to be perfect and with no consequences. I’ve only seen money magic manifest that quickly. The subject of love is a completely different story however.
